Dr. Vikas Amte Dr. Vikas Amte is the Secretary and Chief Functionary of Maharogi Sewa Samiti, Warora (MSS).He is popularly known as a Leprosy Rights Activist and a social entrepreneur  Dr. Vikas has served as an advisory to many Government and Non-Governmental Committees of India. Though he is a qualified medical professional however, through his work, he has demonstrated that he is nothing less than an expert engineer, architect, agriculturist and a human rights activist.

Dr. Prakash Amte Dr. Prakash Amte is the Assistant Secretary of MSS and a recipient of the  Padmashree and Ramon Magsaysay Award. He is the head of Lok Biradari Prakalpa. An internationally renowned personality, he has served as an advisory board member to many Governmental and Non-Governmental Committees in India.

Dr. Sheetal Amte-Karajgi Dr. Sheetal Amte-Karajgi is the CEO of MSS. She is a medical doctor with post-graduate degree in social entrepreneurship from TISS. She is a public health expert, disability specialist & a social entrepreneur. She works as an administrator & finance head of MSS besides managing innovations at MSS. She has been bestowed with various international recognitions – Young Global Leader (World Economic Forum), Innovation Ambassador and Advisor to i4P(Innovations for Peace) by United Nations and the INK Fellowship. She is a member of various policy level education, agricultural and entrepreneurship development and healthcare innovation committees that include governmental and non-governmental apex committees operational at both the national & international levels.

Dr. Sheetal Amte-Karajgi

Dr. Sheetal Amte-Karajgi is the CEO of MSS. She is a medical doctor with post-graduate degree in social entrepreneurship from TISS. Dr. Digant Amte Dr. Digant Amte is the administrator of Lok Biradari Prakalpa hospital.  He looks after the hospital services and has been instrumental in expanding the reach of LBP’s health services manifold. He and his wife, Dr. Anagha Amte have taken a giant leap forward in healthcare by converting the previous LBP cottage hospital into a well-equipped, modern rural hospital with all facilities which are offered free to the Madia Gond tribal population.

Mr. Sudhakar Kadu Mr. Sudhakar Kadu is a leprosy-afflicted person. He came to Anandwan in 1974. He served as Headmaster for both schools, i.e. school for the visually-challenged & the school for the hearing-impaired for many years. He is currently the Up-Sarpanch of Anandwan Gram Panchayat. Having an inclination towards tree plantation, he volunteered to take responsibility of Abhyaranya and is the man behind cleanliness and greenery of Anandwan. He is currently an advisor to the new initiative ‘Anandwan Samajbhan Abhiyan’.

He served as the Sandhiniketan Superintendent for 10 years and along with it supervised the administration of the workshops at Anandwan. He has been working for the Marathi Vidnyan Parishad since 1995 and is currently the Secretary of this reputed organisation.

Mr. Narendra Mestry Mr. Narendra Mistry is an industrialist having his own business set up at Malad, Mumbai. He has been associated with MSS for the past 20 years and is a representative of Anandwan at Mumbai.

Mr. Hari Bade Mr. Hari Bade is a leprosy-afflicted person. However, with his remarkable determination, integrity and hard work, he became the head of Somnath Project of MSS and now manages all affairs there including agriculture.
